What should I feed my baby? Should I immunize my child? Is this a medical emergency? Parents have a lot of questions, and Dr. Minesaki knows the answers. As the mother of two young boys, she will treat your children with exactly the same care she provides her own children. Pediatric medicine is a unique specialty; the care a child receives during childhood will impact their health throughout their life. You want what is best for your child, and by contacting Dr. Minesaki you will be contacting a compassionate expert who will take the time to provide top quality care.
Adolescence is a time of both physical and mental change. For girls, menstruation marks the beginning of adolescence and for boys, the onset of puberty marks tremendous changes. Dr. Minesaki has been treating adolescents for over a decade, and understands how these changes affect health. By providing the correct care during adolescence, girls and boys can grow into strong and healthy individuals, and naturopathic medicine should be the primary approach used to help families prepare for a lifetime of adult health.
As a specialist in family health, Dr. Minesaki provides all levels of care to adults in the family. As parental stress, adult hormonal change, disease prevention and the desire to maximize wellness emerge as medical issues in adulthood, naturopathic care allows a parent to continue to be able to provide for the family. It is important that your family doctor knows your family health history, and nothing is more convenient than sharing a family physician who can treat the whole family – infants, kids, teens and adults.
Prolotherapy, or proliferation therapy, is a process where injections of solution are made into joint space, weakened ligaments, or tendons. The purpose is pain control. It is used in lower back pain, tendinitis and for treatment of osteoarthritis. It is also used as a treatment for sports injury and rehabilitation of injury.
Dr. Minesaki can help your family at every stage of family development. As an experienced health coach, and family practice provider, she can provide quality care to infants, children, adolescents and adult family members. Dr. Minesaki knows how to help you understand the issues of childhood immunizations, and to make choices that promote lifelong health. She is a member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians and The Physician’s Committee for Responsible Medicine.
